What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, balancing, spiritual type of energy medicine modality. It is a meditation that helps to re-order and balance.
Reiki can be practiced in-person with light touch, or it can be practiced remotely.
Reiki energy is not diagnostic, nor is it a pathway modality. It is received by the body where it is most needed.
Reiki Machi can be practiced hands-on, in-person, or remotely, with Clients lying fully clothed, on a treatment table, or seated comfortably in a chair
What is Distance Reiki ?
The session is all done remotely via Skype, Zoom, Facetime, phone. It unfolds the same way as an in-person session. If Practitioner and Client live close to each other, and weather permits, we can set up safe-distance chairs outdoors and sit across from each other. That's really fun
What is Qigong?
Qigong is a 4000+ year old Chinese Energy Medicine that refreshes our energy systems and activates our self healing power.
Qi = Life Force Energy

Qigong exercises mirror the movements of nature, cultivating health, vitality, and deep relaxation

What does a typical in-person Reiki session look like?
A Reiki session can range in length from 30-60 minutes and longer depending on the needs of the Client. Reiki Clients are treated fully clothed, while lying on a treatment table, or seated, fully supported, in a comfortable chair. The Reiki Practitioner will start with a Client intake, to understand health and spiritual history and health goals. And to indicate if there are any parts of the Clients' body that is too sensitive for touch.The Client will customize the session. Some sessions begin with gentle Qigong exercises to raise up vibration energy before Reiki starts.
An intention is set. We can add prayer, meditation, chakra balancing, drawing and story. The Reiki Practitioner then gently places their hands on or over the Client’s body in a series of hand positions from head to toe, or can also hover hands slightly above the body, which ever mode the Client prefers. There is no manipulation or massage. Clients may feel a warm tingling sensation, or soft vibrations, and others may feel nothing in particular except they feel relaxed, calm and grounded.
Is there any preparation necessary before and after sessions?
It is helpful for Clients to dress comfortably, lie or sit in a nice comfy spot and drink water throughout day after session
How many sessions are necessary?
Clients usually report feeling better and more relaxed after their first session, and typically additional weekly or every-other-week sessions are encouraged to strengthen and stabilize results. We have been having raising a lot of joy with
